These are great shots. I really like how, in the second example of the first set of photos the girl looks as though she's stepping into the frame which helps accentuate motion and helps to make the photo more dynamic. When placing an object in the rule of thirds area, it is best to have that object be obvious. Because the island is at a distance, it makes it hard to realize that that is the object that is being highlighted… It sort of blends in with the background....
oh she stepped in all right lol....it was a wet walk back to the car. :) however we did find a field of ripe wild strawberries on the way back so it was well treated. Thanks for the tip and I was finding it a challenge to get the pof from this angle.
